Am letzten Schultag hat das Team Bianca mit Ousainou die Aktion Zahnpflege auch offiziell in N‘ dofan eröffnet. Hier hatte das Team um Frau Gesper bereits im März Zahnbürsten und Zahnpasta verteilt. Eine richtige Einführung war allerdings zeitlich nicht möglich und erst für das Nachfolgeteam geplant. Die Schule war schon in Ferienstimmung. So ließ die Sauberkeit vom zur Verfügung gestellten Klassenraum zu wünschen übrig. Es gab auch leider nicht genug Platz für alle Kinder des Kindergarten. Das Team hat das beste daraus gemacht und freute sich, dass der begleitende Lehrer sehr engagiert war. Er versuchte mit Bianca und Ousainou den Unterricht zu gestalten und war begeistert, dass die Projektmappe in englisch gestaltet war und später durch ihn genutzt werden kann. Beim Unterricht fielen Bianca viele kranke Kinder auf. Beim Zähne putzen waren die Zahnbürsten bei vielen Kindern blutig, da es sehr viele Zahnfleischentzündungen gab. Umso wichtiger ist es, dass von uns jedes Kind seine eigene Zahnbürste bekommt und diese mit dem Namen beschriftet und einklappbar ist. Etwas Unruhe gab es, als die großen Schüler versuchten den Kleinen die Zahnbürsten zu entwenden. Hier musste das Team und der Lehrer die Kleinen und ihre Zahnbürsten verteidigen.

On the last day of school, team Bianca and Ousainou officially opened the dental care campaign in N’ofofan as well. The team around Frau Gesper had already distributed toothbrushes and toothpaste in March. However, a proper introduction was not possible in time and only planned for the next team. The school was already in holiday mood. The cleanliness of the provided classroom was not really satisfying. Unfortunately, there was also not enough space for all children of the nursery school. The team made the best of it and was pleased that the accompanying teacher was very dedicated. He tried to organize the lessons with Bianca and Ousainou and was thrilled that the solution was in English and could later be used by him. During class, Bianca noticed many sick children. When brushing teeth many toothbrushes were bloody because there was a lot of gingivitis. That’s why it is even more important that each child receives its own toothbrush, which will be labeled with the kids name and folded together. There was some agitation when the big boys tried to steal the toothbrushes from the little ones. Here, the team and the teacher had to defend the little ones and their toothbrushes.
