Im Mai starteten wir das Fundraising für die Erweiterung der Sanitäranlagen in Fatou Gayes Kinderhaus. Denn für die stark gewachsene Anzahl Jungen waren einfach nicht genügend Waschräume da. Wir konnten mit 30.000 Dalasi den Baubeginn finanzieren. Mittlerweile sind die Toiletten und Duschen fertiggestellt. Die Gelder dafür warb Fatou bei zwei belgischen NGO ein: NEMA Belgium und Jussokungo for the Gambia. Wir sagen DANKE an alle, die das möglich gemacht haben!
Update: Toilets in boys house completed
In May, we started fundraising for the expansion of the sanitary facilities in Fatou Gaye’s children’s house. Because there were simply not enough washrooms for the rapidly growing number of boys. We were able to finance the start of construction with 30,000 Dalasi. In the meantime, the toilets and showers have been completed.
